The Becca's Closet chapter at Archbishop McCarthy High School is involved in collecting, assorting, and distributing formal dresses and accessories to the Becca's Closet organization at the Festival FleaMarket Mall in Pompano Beach, Florida. We have meetings throughout the school year to discuss upcoming events and to spread awareness of the organization.

The Becca's Closet organization was created by Rebecca Kirtman during her freshman year of high school. She created this dress drive to provide prom dresses to young girls who could not afford to purchase them. During her sophomore year of high school, Becca collected and donated 250+ dresses to girls all across South Florida. Unfortunately, Becca passed away in a car accident in 2003. Her family and friends decided to continue the organization in memory of Becca and her integrity. Today, the Becca's Closet organization helps girls all around the nation enjoy formal high school events by collecting and donating dresses, jewelry, shoes, handbags, and other accessories to students who cannot afford to pay the expenses of homecoming, prom, or military balls.
